Currently, agriculture is one of the important economic sectors of Thailand, with a significant proportion of the population relying on agriculture as their main source of income. However, modern agriculture faces many challenges, including unpredictable weather conditions, increasing pests and diseases, labor shortages, unsustainable resource use, and fluctuating product prices. The Research Center for Agricultural Product Development was established to address these issues through research and the development of new innovations that enhance the quality and quantity of agricultural products. It also aims to provide farmers with the knowledge and skills to adapt to various changes. This research center also plays a role in fostering collaboration between the education sector, government, private sector, and farmers to strengthen the Thai agricultural sector to compete sustainably in the global market.
